Bomb Blast Rocked Bahir Dar, Few Wounded

On Saturday 12 August 2017 at 3:05 PM bomb blasted in Bahir Dar, kebele 04 in ‘Karibu Café’ situated near the National Lottery.

The owner of ‘Karibu Café’ is a known supporter of the minority led Ethiopian regime. The owner defied to support all city wide opposition of all traders to shut their shops in opposition to the recent tax rise. The attack on the café is believed to be deliberate and in retaliation to the refusal of the closure.

There were a lot of confusion during the blast and two people were injured in the process, it is reported. The regime has brought in security forces as reinforcement. A media black is in force to avoid any information from coming in or going out.
