Abbay Media | EPPF London Chapter had conducted its first meeting in the freezing London evening on Sunday 10th January 2010. The organizers invited through the telephone, the EPPF political representative, Arbegna Nurjeba who is based at the EPPF’s office in Asmara. Arbegna Nurjeba addressed the attendees and articulately elaborated on the background of EPPF, the challenges its faces, their vision of the role and contribution of the Ethiopian Diaspora in the fight for freedom and democracy in Ethiopia, and also explained the reason why the Ethiopian and Eritrean people should work together to establish a peaceful region. An EPPF video was shown followed up with a question and answer session with Arbegna Nurjeba.
Abbay Media had managed to shade some light in the confusion created by the different EPPF meetings in London. After requesting for both organizers to provide evidence, such as an authorization letter from the EPPF office in Asmara, only the organizer for yesterday’s EPPF meeting provided an official EPPF letter. Abbay Media is still awaiting proof of authorization from the Elias Kifle’s EPPF faction which still haven’t produced any evidence till now.
Since the Elias Kifle’s EPPF faction are planning to charge money and raise fund in the name of EPPF, Ethiopians residing in London should request for them to provide an authorization letter from the EPPF office in Asmara. This procedure was clearly stipulated in the EPPF resolution at their conference which was held in Asmara late in 2009.
Collecting money from the public without the authorization from the respective organization sets a negative precedence in our struggle for freedom and democracy in Ethiopia and should be strongly condemned.
Abbay Media will keep on requesting for evidence of authorization and will update the public on its findings.

Elias Kefele and Seleshi are Lidetu’s agents. If you recall during and after the 2005 elections Elias Kefel and Seleshi were Lidetu’s representative in Washington DC and London respectively. Currently they are working under the direction of Bereket Simon.
Their current mission is to insert themselves between the Eritrean government and Ethiopian freedom that are trying to build good relationship with the Eritrean government. Their ultimate goal is to break the link between Ethiopian freedom fighters and the Eritrean government. This way they can stop or control the support the Eritrean government can provide to Ethiopian freedom fighters. They are using an old technique called becoming more catholic than the pop.
If you notice Elias is trying to promote himself as the best and only friend the Eritrean government has. This is done to fool the Eritrean government into accepting Elias as a legitimate anti weyane personality. Once he gets that acceptance Elias will quickly work on creating animosity between Ethiopian organizations and the Eritrean government.
I think the Eritrean government has learnt from its past experience how embarrassing flamboyant personalities like Solomon Tekalign and Elias Kefele could be. I think the Eritrean government is handling the situation properly by letting the EPPF office in Asmara take charge of the situation.

Elias kifle has been ditructive person to many organization the diaspora. His source of income might be by collective money by using the name of trusted org like EPPF. I have seen complaint on EPPF websites about him.I realy do not understand what is he doing. Is a spy for some one or a hired agnet to make a confusion among Ethiopians. Doesn’t have friend or family or wife to advise him when he acts like foolish for almost 18 years. He is more distructive than the TPLF members in the western hemisphre.There should be a point to stop him. Abbay Media good job well done. thank you. The end of Elias game is in the making.
