Abbay Media | LONDON; The committee of the International Network against Repression and Injustice in Ethiopia organized another successful World Wide events on June 7th 2009, to commemorate the victims of the June 2005 Post Ethiopian Election massacres. Ethiopians from around the world held various types of events to commemorate the Ethiopian Martyrs of democracy. (See pictures below)

On 8th June 2005, TPLF’s heavily armed Agazi forces under the full control by Meles Zenawi were deployed in the streets of Addis Ababa and started massacring innocent civilians for taking part in a demonstration demanding the respect of the outcome of the elections in the country. Most of the dead had gunshots to the head and hundreds were wounded while thousands were abducted and sent to remote military prison camps.

With all the overwhelming amount of evidence of crimes against humanity no one has been charged with these crimes to date.
