Lake Koka lies a few hundred miles south of Addis Abeba. It used to be idyllic.

  4. Aster says:

Every development comes with some pain full price,so that the govenment of ethiopia is doing a good invetment plan ( i didnt mean that people have to die but this is unaviedable problem)

  5. Ewnetu says:

Ye wayane Scientist ASTER: This is your narrow defention of development. Shame on you! The problem is avoidable and is happened because of Wayanes bad policy! They can control the problem with a minimum investement but they do not give any attention…All things go to Tigray and other regions are totally egnored.

  6. Emebet says:

A responsible government looks after his citizens above all, except those who are in power to distroy the country and the people. Development works when there is a proper study on the land and the environment of ethiopia in general to implement the program that works for Europe. Flower farming has already distroyed the land to grow usual food such as Teffe. The ‘beautiful’ houses ate not food for the hungery, you have to be in good health and well norished to enjoy the so called ‘b.houses’ the women obviousely enjoying life to the full – Lesagneshen yezegaw. May God keep Ethiopia safe.

  7. bekele alemu says:

Well, if this is happening and no action has been taken by the so called Ethiopian’s government, I would say we all should address the issue as a very urgent matter for organizations who have the guts to save human life. Regarding about some of you how are exchanging a very immature and unhelpful ideas and insulting phrases, please try to be good and passive at least for the sake of Ethiopian’s and Ethiopian. If you really want to stop the fire from spreading, do not put fuel on the fire.

  8. KIEKIE says:

ASTER,SHAME ON YOU!!! BEFORE YOU WRITE BACK,GO TO SCHOOL THEN LEARN ABOUT ENVIROMENT,INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT.IF YOU FINISHED THAT,YOU SHOULD COME BACK.OK!! LESAGNESHEN YEZEGAW ASTER ENDEGENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Samuel says:

This greed is not uncommon with government like Woyane in Africa, what makes woyane different is the mission is to destroy Ethiopia in every sense. If you look at who are doing that the Woyane associated businesses who are raping the country before there time comes.

Search for who owns the factories?, how they cam about? where the money goes? TPLF figure print is all over it. Foreign investment is a cover to put a foreigner face, but inside of it TPLF are salivating to reap off the country.

Aster like are a front for Woyane cadres who are trained to divert the crime awayfrom us all, with no media to cover Woyane’s crime and every one diverted in politics woyanes are reaping Ethiopia with no challenge.

Wake up Ethiopians, we got to do better to follow the criminals to their grave

  10. Tameru says:

The infrastructure part is good, but the most priority part is hearing those human made disaster victim’s heart beat! Water is POWER without it nobody can’t exist in this world, so the government should be in charge to make a huge difference for Awash river. May God Help Our People!!!

woyanes and there leaders should leave Ethiopia, they dont belong to Ethiopia. Very Sad, were did they come from?? They were prisioned in one area, like Dedebit, they dindnt learn what Ethiopiawinet means, they dont have it in there blood.

God svae Ethiopia from this un humen creatures. I cant imagin what will happen to you when the rest of ethiopian revolt. Do you remember when Eriterians send to back to Eriteria, because they were sending money to Shabia every month, and every Ethiopian pointed out them in every corner. History reapeat it self. Be aware. God save ethiopia and the real Ethiopians.

  20. Negela says:

it is not the only sadful of the people the condition of Koka-dam, but a shame of the ruling tigre people liberation front government. This
destructive action should be imagined and taken as planned evil activities of the government and its alliances. Not only need to stop but also need to take to the International Court of law those who involved in this nasty gam including the irresponsible tplf government which looks silently or deliberately.
