I have a great respect for each of you who went out there. This is what I call being there when your country needs you. When I see this kind of courage, I am more proud to be one of you. I was truly moved. Thank you so much. We will be free.

I am not happy about the meager numbers that turned out for the rally. How on earth Burtukan cannot magnetize at least 1000 people in Washington DC and 500 in London? As far as the opposition bloc remaines divided and weak there is no chance of toppling the weyane government which is getting stronger day in day out.

Well done! We have to increase our in-put. Many of us could not get a day off.

Bring the sovereignity of Ethiopia as an issue during the demonstration!

Not individuals, Ethiopia as a nation should unite us!

Concerned Ethiopian in Diaspora voiced (demonstration) its concerns on Monday over the political prisoner Birtukan Mideksa and political crisis in Ethiopia and urges relevant parties USA, UK and EU to settle Ethiopia problems by putting pressure on Ethiopian Ruling Party. Ethiopian Ruling party should sit down with opposition parties to sort the problem out through dialogue and consultations.

I believe the ruling party (woyane) and Opposition Parties proceed from the overall situation of national unity and reconciliation and safeguard the actual Ethiopian unity and peace within anti-ruling between anti-ruling parties.

The policy of send to jail who oppose the ruling party is not the solution for Ethiopia’s problem. Ethiopian people are loosing patience and the people becoming disappointed with the consequences of exacerbation and violence feeling within the population and opposition parties.

My question to ruling party is: is it easy to rule people without people’s wish? How long time can you rule the country by force?

I suggest the ruling party to reconcile with opposition parties and Ethiopian people by repairing the damage done to Ethiopia, say for example discussing about sovereignty and cancelling Alger’s agreement, getting Ethiopian historical sea outlet port of ASSAB and its Afar people back to Ethiopian sovereignty.

GOD BLESS ETHIOPIA & ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE

The ethno-fascist woyane junta, which zenawi is leading, relies on terror and and intimidation to stifle the Ethiopian public who are demanding for the respect of basic human rights, freedom and justice in Ethiopia. Their tactic is the same ever since the took power violently in 1991.

The violent woyane do not understand what a peaceful struggle means, because they came to power through the barrel of a gun and they are determined to keep their power through murder and violence.

The woyane sow the seed of hatered between ethnic groups, religious and political groups to devide and conquer the people. People should be aware of this.

There is no good to come from woyane. 17 years on and we are still fighting amongst ourselves, famine and hunger is spreading and the cost of living is soaring. People are still disappearing from their homes, tortured and killed with out any reason other that speaking out for their God given rights.

UNITE OR CONTINUE TO SUFFER. There is no section of the Ethiopian community unaffected by the poison of the woyane.

WITH OUT DEMOCRACY, FREEDOM AND JUSTICE THERE WILL NOT BE prosperity, peace and development.

Birtukan Mideksa and Teddy Afro among the many other polical activists and leaders in our country bring hope for our people. They should be free, able to say what they want and do. The Ethiopian people should be free and be able to speak, write and discuss their issues with fear of intimidation by woyane police, security agents, and informers.

Let’s hope and pray for our country.

    God bless Ethiopia.

Mr Gambella: I really resent your comment here . I am Ti gray by Ethnic and I was there at state Department in Washington DC. Amharic is the official language of Ethiopia. Just because we gathered together and talk in Amharic or say Slogan in Amharic ,it doesn’t mean all people gather are all from Amara ethnic (Amhara tribe )as you put it. Ethiopia problem is not alone for Amara to deal with. I hope you have learn something here my friend. I hope you were out there protesting with other Ethiopians around the world. Like the say ” Talk is Cheap” we all need to stand together and be heard!

The leaders of criminal Woyane regime should be brought to Justice at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague, for their acts of crime of Genocide (Gambela), Crime on Humanity, War Crimes (Ogaden & Somalia), Gang Rapes, Murder, Torture, Forcible Displacement and other crimes. Even if the USA and UK along with their Western allies keep supporting Melesse and his cohorts, we Ethiopians and Africans should support the ICC’s arrest warrant of Sudanese president Omar Hassan al-Bashir in order to set a precedent and bring justice in our own backyard. If the OBAMA administration really wants to bring about CHANGE, it should support peace, democracy and stability in Africa by stopping immediately the continuation of the Bush/Blair racist policy of supporting the criminal Melesse regime financially, militarily and technically. No matter what the USA and UK do to cover for Melesse, we Ethiopians (Africans) should push for Melesse to face THE HAGUE!

Hi GOMIDA. TIGRAY, You can rejoice in the knowledge of PM Meles is in power, then you are going to kiss Eritreans ass or Ethiopians. Because PM Meles is not going to be there to take of you. But I would rather have tigray people united as Ethiopians, if not there will be a high price to pay.
